University of Bremen Account for Guests

Before you begin you have to ask your supervisor for a "Proof of membership of the University of Bremen".

Some important information for apply for a University Account at https://www.uni-bremen.de/en/zfn/your-university-account/apply-for-a-university-account:
Choose "Employees, Cooperation Students, Early Students, Guest Students and Guest Listeners" and click on "Online Account Application"
Please select the following:
I am: "Visiting student"
in/at the University of Bremen

Working area:
Uni FB 03 - Fachbereich 03: Mathematik/Informatik

Some information about your account:
- The expiry date of the account can be seen in the online tools https://onlinetools.uni-bremen.de under "Your University Account" -> "See your identity management data".
- Renewal of the account is only possible with a new membership certificate by email to account@uni-bremen.de. 
- There is no VPN and no "Azure for Teaching" possible.
- No restrictions in Fachbereich 03 (gitlab,...).
- A mail notification is sent three months before the account expires.
- Should the account expire, it will be blocked for three months, then deleted and the data retained for a further three months.
